The Legality of the Wall in the West BankThis short report reviews the legality of the Wall constructed by Israel in the West Bank at the time of the 10 year Anniversary of the Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice on the Wall.  The ICJ ruled that the  Wall and its associated regime are unlawful in international law and set out important Third State obligations on States not to recognise this illegal situation nor to render aid or assistance in maintaining the situation.   The report examines the negative impact of the Wall on the life of Palestinians and their protected rights. It further analyses the conflicting decisions of the International Court of Justice and the Israeli Supreme Court with a focus on three case studies namely the Cremisan, Cliff Hotel and Battir cases.

The report is available here.
