angoc_logo_largeOn 30 July 2014, the Asian NGO Coalition for Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (ANGOC) became GLTN's 66th partner.

ANGOC, founded in 1979 and based in Quezon City in the Philippines, is a regional association of national and regional networks of NGOs in Asia actively engaged in food security, agrarian reform, sustainable agriculture, participatory governance and rural development. ANGOC member networks and partners work in 14 Asian countries, actively engaging in joint field programs and policy debates with national governments, intergovernmental organizations and international financial institutions. ANGOC is also a founding member of the International Land Coalition.

To further pursue its work on land and food issues, ANGOC founded the Land Watch Asia (LWA) campaign which ensures access to and control of land, agrarian reform and sustainable development for the rural poor are addressed in national and regional development agenda. To date, LWA has developed a number of knowledge products (studies, resource books and tools such as the CSO Land Reform Monitoring), which are of value and relevance to GLTN.
